The services I provide include both edge to edge designs and custom quilting.  Edge to edge (E2E) means that the quilting design will be uniform across the quilt top and not area-specific.  They are very creative and I can customize edge to edge designs to your quilt top.

 

My goal as your longarm quilter is to make the quilting look uniquely yours by the way we carefully select the quilting design to match your quilt top.   I am experienced in choosing  modern-looking, often geometric, and abstract quilting designs as well as traditional quilting themes such as feathers, florals and swirls.   The density of the quilting can range from lower density to more dense for the lovely texture that compliments your patchwork.

 

Custom quilting is specific to the quilt piecing design and may be done with computerized technology as well as free motion quilting where I operate the quilting machine manually in an artistic manner.  Custom quilting creates a one-of-a-kind result using different design elements in the sections of the quilt, for example, in the blocks, sashing, borders and incorporating designs for negative space, outlining applique, background texture, and motifs.

Not sure where to start?​

I would love to help! When you book your quilt with me, you have the option to have me pick the design for you and/or make the thread choice. I will get your approval for all design and thread choices before I begin quilting.  I love working with new quilters too!
